Resorts Casino Hotel is a hotel and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Resorts was the first casino hotel in Atlantic City, becoming the first legal casino outside of Nevada in the United States, when it opened on May 26, 1978. The resort completed an expansion in 2004, adding the 27-story Rendezvous Tower, and underwent renovations in 2011, converting the resort to a Roaring Twenties theme.

The Resorts site was originally occupied by two three-story wooden Quaker rooming houses, The Chalfonte House and The Haddon House.

  • Played craps at the automated craps table. Most folks at the table either don’t play or are sleeping. Casino security wake the sleepers up, tell them they can’t sleep there, once security goes away...

  • Resorts what can I say about resorts they were the first one they took an old hotel renovated it and it looks good. They were the best they are the best and they will be the best. I love this place. Back in the 70s I used to deliver ice to that place and I would take $10 go ahead and play the dollar slots and I would either come out with more than 10 or nothing lots of good memories there
  • The location of the hotel was perfect, central on the boardwalk. Some rooms are renovated, however the hotel is dated. The staff were all very friendly and housekeeping was very visible and efficient. The lunch at Quick Bites was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The renovated pool area on second floor is very nice with chairs overlooking the boardwalk.
  • Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. I visit there twice a year. It's always a phenomenal time for me. I've never won at the slots but the boardwalk had always been my favorite fir shopping. See you guys again in September!
  • For the price and location this place was fine. The staff was extremely friendly and fun. Our room was a bit on the small side. My husband and I are both tall and we felt cramped when using the bathroom and shower. The other issue with the room is that it's says ocean view but all we got was a view of the side of the hard rock and a slight view of the ocean, I guess it's still a ocean view just not what I expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We had a random movie charge that we did not rent but the front desk took care of if it immediately. The casino itself was fun. Smaller then I'm use too but still had a good time. Lots of great bars and food options and located right on the boardwalk with great access to the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return.
