Soak up the ocean breeze and vibrant energy of Atlantic City Boardwalk. The 6.43 km (4 mi) seaside promenade is home to some of the east coast’s most famous restaurants, casinos, hotels, and attractions, and holds the title for the oldest boardwalk in the country. Try your luck at the tables in one of the boardwalk’s luxury casino-resorts, such as Trump Taj Mahal, or head to the House of Blues to attend a show with views over the Atlantic. Tour the Atlantic City Historical Museum or Ripley’s Believe It or Not before stopping for a meal at one of the boardwalk’s five-star restaurants or hole-in-the-wall diners. Catch a bicycle taxi back down the boardwalk if you tire after the long walk. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Atlantic City holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Atlantic City Boardwalk and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Is a kind of "Boardwalk", done as a large deck, which follows the edge of the beach, where you can go hiking, cycling or simply walking. On one side of the beach and the hotels, rest, bars, various shops where you will find a bit of everything.

  • Spent time walking the beach and boardwalk each morning. Great exercise. Lots of good entertainment. Enjoyed live music at Bally's
  • Besides the homeless, hookers and drug addicts that occasionally roam the boardwalk. Its still a magical place. In the summer the beach bars are fantastic. Ive been going to AC for over 20 years now, never had a dull moment. Ive seen the Miss America pageant, the 3D outdoor light show, a few concerts. The casinos, restaurant's, pool clubs, night clubs, the hidden places, and the people I meet are all great. Atlantic city will never die! It just needs to be dusted off now and then, its really a shiny gem underneath it all. Enjoy the boardwalk everyone.
  • Amazing place to spend vacation! Lots of vendors with varying prices and everything you can think of. Will def come back again!
  • Beach bar was fun, played some great music for dancing! The sand is really hot for your feet, the shops sell all the same things at roughly the same price & you can catch the tram for $2.25 to get you from one end to the other. When it comes around that is.
  • They got almost everything you need on the beach, including different types of music, food, drinks, soft sand, fireworks, and, of course, a long beautiful beach. Casinos are also close by. There is no admission fee, but you would probably have to pay for parking if you drive there.
  • Great place to walk and sight see...north end is great while south end is kinx of dead. Fun fun
