Where to stay in Atlanta

Most of Atlanta's top hotels cluster in a downtown area with an easy-to-remember name--the Hotel District. The city's political and commercial hub, this area offers quick walking access to most major attractions. Another good area for boutique hotels and rental apartments is the ever-expanding Midtown, with proximity to most of Atlanta's big-name museums and theaters. If you're looking to save some money on accommodations, explore options in the more economical chain hotels outside downtown; from there, you can take the city's public transport to centrally located attractions and activities.

  • We needed some supplies when we arrived in Atlanta and this filled the bill. Also has a CVs nearby.where you can get packs of soft drink cans and biscuits etc.  more »
  • Everything except a handful of food court restaurants close at 5pm. These hours are terrible for guests of the nearby hotels! Not many shops either; it seems this "mall" is only meant to serve the loc...  more »
  • Went in as is near our hotel and there are no shops not sure why is called a mall. It just full of fast food places and many close early.  more »

  • Nice food court with a large selection. There are a couple small hidden gems among the big chain places:there's a Thai noodle place with a very generic name that you will miss if you blink that's great for lunch. It's always super crowded after ten, though: good luck getting Chick-fil-A in less than fifteen minutes, and sometimes it can take 30 or more.
  • great for lunch if you work downtown. great for lunch if you are visiting our great city. Aviva's is amazing. I mean the hospitality and seafood soup. The beast feels like a food challenge I can win. Tumeric is great too. The cheesecakes from the cheesecake spot are just like I mean yeah. I get a mini to claim I am watching my waistline but truth be told, I get three. I will do better.
  • My main warm fuzzies about this place come from the fact that it's home to a caribou coffee and Aviva by Kameel.
  • This was a nice little shopping area conveniently located by the hotel I was staying in. I like the different shops that they had in there and on the third floor Gus's Famous Fried Chicken it's definitely worth a mention and definitely worth checking out. You won't be disappointed.
  • This place was so convenient because it was located beside of our hotel. There was so many great places to eat at for a reasonable price. What a lifesaver!
