  • I often come to Piedmont park to unwind and take in some fresh air but I was here this past weekend for the Dogwood Festival and I had such a great time with my family!  more »
  • There was some kind of celebration concert going on but there were many unsavory characters around trying to peddle stuff.  more »
  • New to Atlanta! First time at Piedmont Park. So clean and beautiful. A lot of space to do any activity. Tried the frozen juice bar. Walked around for one hour on a sunny Saturday.  more »

  • Located in the Midtown area, Piedmont Park is like Atlanta's Central Park! Although this park covers much more area than Centennial Olympic Park, Piedmont Park has more trees and more playing fields. As a tourist, I prefer the cleaner, more spacious feel of Centennial Olympic Park, but if I want to exercise, play team sports, or simply people-watch, I would definitely go with the more bustling Piedmont Park! While the more artsy Centennial Olympic Park is geared more toward tourists, Piedmont Park is a local paradise for outdoors leisure from the urban life. I recommend coming by this park to get a real local vibe!
  • Nice park with scenic trails. I was very impressed. It's clean and refreshing. There are different trails to bike, walk, or run. We rode bikes to explore and it was fun. There are tons of picture taking opportunities and great spots for a picnic!
  • This was the home to the Great Cotton States Exhibition in the late 1800's. Piedmont Park is a large, beautifully kept park on the northeast side of downtown with a lake, pool, trees jogging path, soccer fields, public grills, swings, dog parks and it's all free and within walking distance of the midtown Marta station. It's hassle free and a great place for a family outing or a romantic picnic. Close enough to the high museum of art to make an oh so cool day of it!
  • One of the best runs I've been on was around this park. It is so serene yet captivating. One of my favorite parks yet that intersects with a running trail.
  • Natural greenspace in the heart of a busy city. Host of numerous festivals and cultural delights. A downtown oasis.
