  • We were watching the game of the atlanta basketball, never having been, very nice, Americans know turn everything into shows. Here in Brazil doesn't have anything like it, everything works, good food and clean bathrooms even, very good, recommend

  • Three of us attended The Hawks vs The Spurs basketball game. Our seats were in Section 108, Row M so close enough to ground level. Good seats, great views. Bathrooms and staff were friendly enough. Se...  more »
  • Phillips Arena needs help, they renovated at the event holder and season ticket holder expense. Prices went up, but very little renovating. Poorer seating, still have rude staff, needs major cleaning ...  more »

  • Nice venue, but not so much for concerts. The sound can be a bit choppy and views can be either really good or really, really bad depending on your seat location. The parking is adequate but expect to see wait times of around 30 minutes to depart as traffic has to have the needed time to clear. If possible get a hotel nearby and walk back and avoid the crowds leaving. They need to turn on the score board monitors during concerts for those sitting further away to have a better overall customer experience.
  • The Philips Arena is undergoing a huge makeover this past season. It looks great and all the seat upgrades make a difference when watching the basketball games and having a good time. We enjoy coming here for events, parking is easy and convenient and there are lots of places to eat inside while you are waiting around. We have never had a bad experience here.
  • I am limited mobility and have a difficult time getting around. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They provide wheelchair assistance to and from your seat. I parked across the street in the CNN parking deck...very convenient. It's still a challenge when you are limited, but the staff and security treated me with respect and kindness.
  • Some employees were very friendly, but some were the exact opposite. The floor staff needs to be trained better. I paid for front row seats to a concert and they just allow whoever wanted to, to come stand in front of our seats like it was standing room. If you don't have tickets for that area, you shouldn't be allowed there. My wife is only 5'3" and she had people standing in front of her the whole concert when we PAID for FRONT ROW and they didn't. We're not rich, those tickets were really expensive for us.
  • I just arrived here for the first time for a Dead & company concert on 11-29-17. It took over an hour for me to find the Georgia's Own credit union parking deck that I purchased parking for. GPS has me doing loops around the arena for an hour looking for a sign a road anything. No signs nothing posted on how to get to the parking deck. Other than that it is a very nice facility well planed and laid out for maximum enjoyment of the event. Plenty of concessions and restrooms close to all seating .

Where to stay in Atlanta

Most of Atlanta's top hotels cluster in a downtown area with an easy-to-remember name--the Hotel District. The city's political and commercial hub, this area offers quick walking access to most major attractions. Another good area for boutique hotels and rental apartments is the ever-expanding Midtown, with proximity to most of Atlanta's big-name museums and theaters. If you're looking to save some money on accommodations, explore options in the more economical chain hotels outside downtown; from there, you can take the city's public transport to centrally located attractions and activities.
