  • It's beautiful! The staff keeps the place in tip top shape. It is wonderful to walk around and just enjoy the peacefulness. They also give tours around the city.
  • Beautiful and extensive. Whether you're interested in the history it contains or you're just looking for a scenic place to stroll, this is a nice place to go. They allow dogs and you'll frequently see tours on foot and by Segway. Across Memorial you'll find Tin Lizzy's, Six Feet Under, The Republic House, and other (including across Boulevard in Cabbage Town) for lunch or dinner after you're done touring the cemetery.
  • Beautiful! Nice place to walk around. Even if you aren't a fan of cemeteries I would still recommend this because it is so beautiful.
  • A simple joy for me in travels is to take some quiet time to explore a cities past through their cemeteries. This is a beautiful spot and at special places on the grounds you also get an awesome view of the downtown skyline. Take your time, this is a good sized plot right next to all the other more energetic things this city has to offer.
  • Oakland Cemetery is full of history, Victorian symbolism, and beautiful gardens. They offer a general overview tour about the cemetery and some of the people buried there, and they offer special topic tours as well.
