  • Staff was helpful and beer lines moved fairly well for the crowd. The architecture is amazing. I found myself checking out the venue as much as the act at times. A must-see for people who enjoy live performances. I’ve sat all over this place and there’s not a bad seat in the house for a place this size.
  • Lion King on opening day! Awesome! This was my first time at the Fox and the performance was awesome. My daughter did the same play in her high school and we antes to compare it with the pros. Night and day obviously. Great fun. The downside was the line to get in. It literally wrapped around the block, but it was due to the security at the entrance which I'm okay with. That said plan to arrive early.
  • The fabulous Fox sign greeted us as we exited the MARTA station and walked the short walk to the door. Upon entering this legendary venue I was overwhelmed with the presence of the spirits that have performed there. The enthusiastic Widespread Panic throng was buzzing around like honey bees and I knew this was going to be epic. While the bar lines were quite time consuming we found our balcony seats before showtime and got to soak in the atmosphere and architecture that make this venue famous. The show was mind blowing and as we left around midnight to catch the MARTA train back to the Hyatt Regency, I promised to myself to return next year.
  • I went to see the Atlanta ballet production of the Nutcracker. Even with the large crowd of people it didn’t take long to get through security. This was my first time visiting. The theater is so beautiful. The ushers were so helpful and the seats were comfortable. Mighty Mo played during intermission. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back.
  • I LOVE coming here. I've been coming to the Fox since I was a little girl. The inside is a amazing. If you've never experienced a show I encourage you to do so soon. It will be one of the best experiences in your life. I am thankful the countless shows I've seen here. Looking forward to many more as long as I can. Enjoying the Atlanta Nutcracker 2017 tonight. LOVE IT

Where to stay in Atlanta

Most of Atlanta's top hotels cluster in a downtown area with an easy-to-remember name--the Hotel District. The city's political and commercial hub, this area offers quick walking access to most major attractions. Another good area for boutique hotels and rental apartments is the ever-expanding Midtown, with proximity to most of Atlanta's big-name museums and theaters. If you're looking to save some money on accommodations, explore options in the more economical chain hotels outside downtown; from there, you can take the city's public transport to centrally located attractions and activities.
