  • This was an amazing visit, very thought provoking listening to the preachings of Martin Luther King in the church where he had actually preached. We were a family of three generations on this visit an...  read more »
  • We toured this church during our visit to the MLK Historical Site. I can't begin to describe the feeling I had when we entered the sanctuary. It was surreal. I couldn't believe I was actually standing...  read more »
  • We were able to go to some of the historical black places. We took pictures and learn a lot more than we knew about ourselves and things that happened to us, some good and some bad. Overall it was ver...  read more »
  • Reverend Warnock keeps the tradition of service and social awareness which began in the days of Dr. King Sr, known lovingly as Daddy King. This beautiful sanctuary sits across the street from the historic church site where Daddy, Dr. King, Rev. Joe Roberts, and others graced the pulpit. It has a beautiful adjunct building that is a community center that houses an office of Operation Hope, a non profit that helps people learn about finance.
  • Archimedes is thought to have said, "Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world." The 1922 Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church is the rock upon which Dr. King stood as he moved the slumbering conscience of a nation. The Southern Christian Leadership Conference was founded as a result of a meeting here in 1957. Visitors may sit in the pews where Dr. King's congregation sat, and listen to recordings of his speeches played from the pulpit where he once stood. Afterwards, visitors may visit the crypt where Dr. and Mrs. King were laid to rest.
  • The people in church change my life. I was lost spiritual. I spoke in pulpit made me overstand how God works in me. The team of preaching they have is awesome. You won't ever forget your experience.
  • Best church I've visited in Atlanta. I've never felt more welcomed, they assisted me with food in an emergency without even knowing me, and I've always felt God's Spirit alongside me stronger while there.
  • Its glorious they even play his speeches and inside is just spiritually beautiful.
