  • Attended outdoor wedding, followed by reception/banquet in the mansion. Nice, compact grounds, easy parking, interesting period rooms. Wonderful alternative to standard banquet hall.

  • My husband and I had our wedding there on 8-14-16 and we absolutely loved it! It was reasonable & practically decorated so didn't need much more. Kaitlin worked with us from booking til the week of & made it so easy! The day of Curtis was our contact person & he was AWESOME..... Anything we needed he made it work (also reminding me to enjoy the day & let him handle it) which was so relaxing! Our pictures are amazing with the help of this venue! I'm so glad we chose a Sunday because we had the mansion for the whole day to ourselves!
  • We had a chance to attend a beautiful wedding in July at Callanwolde. The location is beautiful and discretely tucked away in the neighborhood just outside of downtown. Once onsite you have a nice driveway leading you through the landscaped grounds and amazing garden area. The banquet room is huge and looks out to the courtyard. This is one of the grandiose venues that i have attended for a wedding and I look forward to seeing it during one of their art showcases throughout the year.
  • If you are in the Atlanta area it is a must see! They have classes to sign up for or you can take a walk around and observe the history and beautiful grounds. We hosted an event here last month and were amazed with the hospitality. The staff is eager to help, and very accommodating. The venue is outstanding, with beautiful and rooms and architecture. It's great to see this place is being preserved by people who are equally passionate about the history as with sharing it with the community. We hope to work with them again very soon!
  • Absolutely beautiful venue and an overall good experience. Situated in the city, but you'd never know it while you're enjoying the gardens. I was a guest at wedding at this venue and the only problem that I experienced was the receptionist. She was very rude. Just oddly groutchy so it was hard to respond with anything but confused laughter. Sort of hard to make out why... Maybe she was having a bad day. Otherwise great venue, though.
  • The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a beautiful venue for weddings and events, it practically sells itself. However, the venue’s staff take it to the next level. One person who absolutely stands out is Caitin King, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. My success as a wedding coordinator, is often times dictated by the responsiveness of the venue staff. Caitlin made it easy to form a partnership and work through the details to make the wedding with 180 guests a success. It is inevitable that some circumstances may require you to change some details at the last minute, whether it is scheduling the rehearsal, switching up table set up, etc…, however it was sooo easy to accommodate the bride and groom’s changes as Caitlin stepped up to the plate each time with no fuss. She has excellent follow-through and is a problem-solver. She understands the importance of creating the perfect wedding day which includes the overall experience leading up to it! She is about creating a low stress situation and sharing lessons learned or observations from other weddings to help the bride and groom make informed decisions. Don’t let her baby face fool you either, she is a professional who really knows her stuff! I really look forward to working with Caitlin and team in the future.
