  • I have to say I had more fun here then I did at the Lagoon! I was also pregnant when I went with my husband and two daughters. I loved the fact that I could ride on two rides while being pregnant! My favorite ride was the train!! I can't wait to take our youngest who is now 3yrs to Silverwood. I will never forget my first visit to Silverwood, I can't wait for my youngest to experience her first visit!! Thank you to all the staff that work there at the park. You all were very friendly and now days great customer service comes more and more less!!
  • Expensive. Friendly staff. Do call ahead for cabana reservations as well as the day of. We had 2 cabanas reserved 4 months prior to our visit and paid for. The cabanas ended up being cancelled by a staff member and all 36 of us had to find another spot to hide from the sun. This place was huge and everything was far from our meeting location. Parking lot was full. But the rides and water area were fun.
  • Our 6 year old daughter had a great time here. There were a good selection of "kiddie" rides for her and she was big enough to ride most of them on her own. Food is pretty reasonably priced as far as theme parks go. Having to pay $5 to park is pretty lame given the fact you're already paying quite a bit for admission to the park. The highlights for us were the train ride and the magic show. The hourly train ride fills up quickly so plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the hour. There are some skits that take place during the train ride that are fun to watch. The magic show was surprising good and well produced - well beyond our expectations. Lots of humor, both kid friendly and some wink-wink-nudge-nudge stuff only the parents (hopefully) will get.
  • We usually make it out to Silverwood every other year at the least. It's not as big as Knotts Berry Farms, or as Flashy as Disney, but it is far cheaper, and far calmer of an experience. They have some of the top coasters in the country to ride, and plenty to do for the kids. The water park is nice for a bit, and the variety shows they have really add some spice. All kinds of choice food really adds to the experience as well. For the cost of a few nights in a hotel, add in the tickets, you can have a real nice extended weekend visit. Being only 4-6 hour drive from most of the pacific northwest makes this a great weekend destination for the family.
  • After swallowing the sticker price for our family and grand kids we had an enjoyable time. Especially the children. The train was a delight. especially when the robbers boarded. Youngest grandchild was totally freaked out. The big bad robber had to whisper to him that he was a good guy and this was just pretend. Loved the air show.
