  • Our child had a great time playing there! It is family friendly! There are benches. You can play with your children here!  more »
  • This is the best playground in Athens-Clarke county, hands down. The only issue is that it gets super crowded during certain times, which makes it less enjoyable. I recommend coming (if you can) on we...  more »

  • We've been pleased with the new addition with complaints narrowing down to two. 1. There are no benches for parents to sit on on several sides of the playground equipment. My friends and I who have small children usually end up sitting in the mulch next to the "balance beam", which would be the perfect spot for some benches. 2. There is a very large "rock" connecting some of the new structures without any guard rails or protection. It is such a large and tall structure, I have found it not age appropriate at all. Positives include fencing with a gate, picnic tables, water fountains with a water bottle filling station, exciting new playground elements, good swings, and open grass.
  • We love this playground! It's the first thing we found in Athens :) we had both kids parties here because it's so relaxed and easy. There are woods to play in (with trails) and sidewalks to ride bikes and scooters on, and a great playground with slides and swings and things to climb on. Can't wait to check out the new section they just added on!
  • It was a great park while it was there, but the new park also looks really cool and shares a parking lot. There are also dog park areas and some trails back behind the play equipment and pavilion
  • I enjoyed taking my son to this playground. I saw people having b-day parties there and I thought that was a great idea, when you have a tight budget. We will come back.
  • So much for the kids to do but can get very crowded with older kids in the younger areas
