  • Beautiful gardens, well maintained. New varieties as well as heirloom. Sunny or wooded trails. Ponds, river, and forest habitats bring the best birds during spring and fall migrations. We go birding here often.
  • The Botanical Gardens of the State Of Georgia is an amazing gardens to visit year round. The gardens are beautiful and they always have activities for all ages. You can hike trails along the Oconee River or enjoy some quiet time.
  • Recently attended an evening wedding at this beautiful facility. The foliage and orchids are beautiful. Beautiful grounds and pathway, very serene and peaceful.
  • Beautiful place, many acres to walk, lots of knowledgeable staff to help you learn. Free to visit and park. If I lived closer I'd visit more often.
  • Excellent place for trail runs of various lengths, plenty of smaller cutoffs to play with the distance. Large hills good for hill work. The trails are very well maintained and people are usually friendly. You will most likely see some deer and an armadillo on your run, as well as a nice stretch following a creek/river. Overall excellent place.
