We have enjoyed this place at different times of year. It has nice indoor, interactive displays and some animals as well as wonderful nature trails.
FREE-wonderful for kids! And has a lot of cool, little features and creatures. The sea turtle is definitely my favorite!
This is such a nice little educational place for kids! The trails around it are lovely too :) The lady Rhonda, at the front desk in the mornings is not particularly friendly, but Michelle is awesome! If your young child (3 to 7 maybe) likes science and nature, come here and play!
Great activity for a day trip. Hiking trails are great. The nature center is perfect for little ones.
I really like Sandy Creek Nature Center, there's a lot of trails to run or walk. It's a nice place to bring the doga for a walk. Lately a lot of the trails are not accessible because of the excessive rain. Flooding can definitely be a problem when it rains.
Very cool spot to take the kids.
Great place for kids to learn and explore.
