  • This is a very small facility, but has some aspects of a museum. The real draw here is the hands on film making experience. We recorded movie scenes from two movies made in the Astoria area, The Shini...  more »
  • Misleading title. This is a Goonies tribute and has virtually nothing else about any other films made in the area. Unless you are a diehard Goonies fan, don't waste the six bucks  more »
  • The Museum is really ridiculous, but if you are a fan of the Goonies like me will seem beautiful. It is housed in the prison of the film with several things that recall the famous film the Goonies. There is a possibility to register some small scenes with shining set or twilight and send your movie to your mail. Cost of the Museum $6 in 30 minutes you see abundantly

  • Small but fun glimpse of Oregon film history. Three different sets allow visitors to film themselves in different scenes from movies or make up their own. Fun. Easy. Not at all mobility-challenged friendly.
  • Unique opportunity to continue the Goonies legacy. I wish it was a more legitimate venue. But a great place to explain to your kids that old movies are awesome too
  • Great place for Super-Goonie lovers. Went with family and created a small little different film. You learn some pretty awesome stuff about Goonies and some other movies!
  • Very fun for family to experience how movies are made and act out skits. Enjoyed all the Goonie and other screen actors old pictures and history. Hope to return again soon😎
  • Pretty small but pretty cool. Has the opening scene of the Goonies. ORV, bullet holes and the jail.

Luxury hotels and historical inns offer scenic views over the Columbia River. To experience the surrounding countryside as Lewis and Clark did, consider camping at one of the campsites on the outskirts of town, or rent a cabin near the river's shores.
