  • This place was high on the list of places to try. We had the older curmudgeon bartender and he was a lot of fun to provoke. Beer was surprisingly good and tasty and not like licking a tree. Had to wai...  more »

  • Lovely place to get some delicious beer! The fish and chips and burrito were also good, and our waitress was super friendly. Nice and casual. We’ll go back!  more »

  • Has a good amount of seating and the wait is usually short if there is one. Great handmade pizza and drinks upstairs which also does take out. Great food and drinks downstairs. There's also a tap room that has a very chill vibe with seasonal and small batch beers. There are periodic events happening as well as corn hole to play outside.
  • Food was wonderful, we were upstairs. There 3 different types of experiences to have here. So I cannot tell of all places. Staff was very attentive and super cool people. Beer was great at worst. Enjoyed everything I tried. That doesn't happen every where. I HIGHLY suggest this place if you are in the mood for awesome.
  • (Note: copied this review from my Trip Advisor account) We stopped in for dinner while spending a weekend in the area. Several friends recommended Ft. George, so we figured it was worth a shot. After waiting for nearly an hour for a table, we were led to the deck outside where we had to share a table with strangers. My lady friend and I were greeted by the waitress who assumed we were a lesbian couple - and further insulted me when she wouldn't apologize. After awkwardly ordering our drinks, we waited quite a while before we could place our dinner order. 40 minutes later we had food delivered - by another server. (we pretty much lost sight of the first server after the awkwardness) We were further irritated when we asked for limes for our Coke. The rude waitress said, "we don't have limes here." Total lie, as they serve key lime pie, and limes with the Mexican-type dishes. We absolutely won't be back here any time soon. (they are pet friendly, so if that matters to you...)
  • Busy, even off season (albeit a holiday weekend), yet seated promptly, food came quickly and staff was attentive without being obnoxious. Food was good, typical brewpub fare, beer good, as always. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Astoria.
  • Got there right after they opened and pretty busy already. We sat on the patio. Beer was good. Had the hummus, it was excellent. Was fresh made. Water coolers were outside for getting your own water. Separate upstairs restaurant we did not try.
