  • My wife & I stopped for our 1st time there and what a pleasant surprise! I ordered the house-made sausage sammy and it came with the BEST sausage I have ever eaten. You get onions, peppers & kraut on ...  more »
  • Craft breweries are as common as clam chowder in the Oregon coast. This is a fun place off the busier streets - such as they are - in Astoria. A long list of beers, an ABV for every taste. From the ch...  more »

  • I included Astoria in the road trip just so I could visit this place and it did not disappoint. The beer selection was awesome and the food was great too. The atmosphere was young and vibrant. The place was as relaxed and friendly as your backyard party. One suggestion though. And this is pretty common for most breweries. I would like the beer sampler to be smaller size, like maybe 3 sips, but bigger verity. With all the awesome beer choices on the board, sampler was only 4 verity.
  • Very good beer with excellent service, a great view and a great space to have a couple beers and a good meal at a reasonable price. Many great things to see in Astoria including the Trolley tour, many restaurants, the column, coffee shops, ... About ten miles away is Fort Stevens State Park with weekly bird tours, daily kayak tours, junior ranger sessions in the summer, bike rentals, clamming, beaching, hiking... Connected to Fort Stevens State Park is Historic Fort Stevens museum and gift shop. Although moderate sized, both are very nice. The museum also hosts ticketed truck (army personnel carrier) tours of the military installations. Nearby, Seaside is a great ocean beach community, carnival like community, with paddle boarding and skim boarding opportunities as well as a unique golf course
  • I went in with my mom for a beer, it was busy. We asked to sit in the courtyard after we get a beer. The waitress was a total witch (in the downstairs area) she said we had to be on a waitlist to sit in the courtyard. We told her we just wanted a beer and to sit down. She said "sit in a plastic chair and if one of my tables moves DON'T steal my table." I looked at my mom and told her, let's go elsewhere. We actually went up stairs, got a beer and went out to play corn hole. We love the beer and the atmosphere, it would have been a GREAT experience had you had better customer service from the terrible waitress, who remains nameless, because she refused to tell us her name. I will always remember her face and refuse to get serviced if she is the waitress working. Sad a place can have such great food and beer and a bad employee. Also, we came because of the recommendation and GIFT CARDS people have given us. Customer service is KEY and will make or break your establishment.
  • This place makes great beers and fantastic burgers. "South of Duane" was messy and delicious. "Purple People Eater" was a great Concord Grape Kettle Sour. Oh, and those garlic fries, couldn't get enough. Also dog friendly in the outdoor seating area!
  • Great food. Here at lunch time and service was less then expected. Only got 1 ice tea, never offered refill. Soup came last. Food delivered by another wait staff pur waitress was Mia. Great seafood chowder. Will come again.
