The John Denver Sanctuary reviews
Finding a parking spot is difficult; likely best to go to parking garage and walk to sanctuary. The sanctuary has words from his songs chiseled into rock, as well as sayings by others. It is very... more »
We had planned our trip to be able to see the John Denver Memorial and it was awesome. I have been a fan of John Denver since I first heard him sing Country Roads many years ago. I am so glad my... more »

It pays respect to John Denvers love of nature! Beautiful place to relax and reflect. Everything there is beautiful. Take the time for a picnic in his Song Garden!!! Love it
Great little place for a man I never knew. It's a 30 minute walk, if you take your time, and a bunch of scenic views. There will be areas where you need to step over a small section of stream to another rock, so unfortunately a handicapped person can't see all of the sanctuary by themselves. Its beautiful location and quotes chiseled on the side of rocks makes this place amazing!
Amazing. Beautiful. The rocks have wisdom written on them. Very cool. Flowers were beautiful.
Small peaceful garden with some stones with quotes and lyrics. Some sort of small natural outdoor amphitheater. Situated next to a creek on one side and an ugly temporary (?) event venue structure on the other.
If you can manage to pull out the master sword from the sanctuary then you will meet the sage of time. You will then have to travel throughout Aspen to find and awaken the remaining six sages. Good luck.
