  • This museum was billed as about the Strategic Air Command functioning during the cold war. Many of the exhibits are WWII fighters and bombers. This is ok because as a WWII buff I thought it was great ...  read more »
  • We brought our 8 year old son here, but I think we had as much fun as he did! The exhibits were really cool. You actually get a feel for how big some of the WWII planes were, makes you feel like a bug...  read more »
  • What a great place to visit. The new science exhibit is fantastic. My kids had a great time. There is so much to see and do. Plan for a couple of hours here.
  • As a pilot and a massive aviation/history buff I found this museum awsome! The historical significance of what sac meant as well as the amazing collection of aircraft are simply breathtaking! The only reason I gave 3 stars is they really need to figure out a way to clean the place better; maybe hire a new janitor... didn't bother me so much but really bothered my family! I'm sure its difficult to keep up with it but wow! How expensive is a ladder and dustmop!
  • If you are in, or near Omaha or Lincoln. This should be on you list if you like military aircraft. This is a SAC museum. The aircraft are mainly bombers. Some likely no where else. There is a purity to this place. No overwhelming exhibits. Just the most amazing and important planes used by SAC and the Air Force. (and some missiles out front.) There was some kind of guide led event for some school kids.
  • A great museum for fans of aircraft and military history. Even my teenaged girls enjoyed the place. The centerpiece has to be the B-52. Many many static displays of 20th century air force aircraft. Several NASA items too. They have a real flight simulator too. The simulator is very expensive for only 5 minutes. Don't pay the extra for the 3D it doesn't add to the experience. The kids running the simulator weren't very helpful and a little arrogant, but still the only simulator I've ever been in. A nice museum, even though its in the middle of nowhere.
  • Awesome bomber plane. Love the history of it all. Even tho it was a bit pricy just was amazing to see those planes and see a era before my time in the service.
  • This is a great place to visit. They have a huge variety of planes and they are displayed very well. I do wish there was the ability to go inside of the planes though or at least a few of them which is why I only gave it 4 stars.
