  • I have my BA in Music Business from Southern Oregon University. If you want to see my review for their Music Department, see it under the "SOU Music Building" on google. As for the school itself... it could use major improvements. Let me say that I was not surprised at all to learn that the University lost $1.9 million in an email scheme in mid-2017. It was clear that the school had major issues long before that. There is also a major drug problem at this school that they refuse to address. During my time there, I have reported RA's (school officials) for major drug abuse (meth and cocaine). When I reported it in person I was told that they refuse to investigate matters further unless I personally presented them with some sort of physical evidence. Meaning that they refused to even drug test the person in question! I was just trying to do the right thing. I had a great time at SOU, but they really need to get their stuff together. NOTE: The name "Lee Roberts" is an alias.
  • Outstanding school in 1976 - 1980 when I graduated. SInce then, unfortunately, way too much shift to the left. Exposure... Fine Shaping/Recruiting.... No I sent my daughter to the University of Nevada, Reno for a balanced Faculty, not penalized for independent thinking.
  • As a student and employee I always loved this campus.
  • dear miss president i studied in southern oregon university many years ago . i was a honor student .and i was the first venezuelan in oregon at that time i have being teaching for the last 30 years in universities down here in venezuela. today i require to leave this country because , i am a political persecu , and i am afraid for my live giving that this castro communism government , through me out the university and try to kill me and took off all my wells and resources i am in a very poor situation . and because we can not get dollars or euros i am asking for charity for tickets and some traveling expenses
  • This university is DEPLORABLE!!!!! Tons of fees, self centered staff and faculty, corrupt administration, They have a 60% retention rate and a 40% drop out rate. this is due to the fact that many students do not feel that they are getting the education they want and deserve. Also, they do not offer what they promise. There is a lot of outsourcing of academic services which should come directly from the university itself. IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND A FOUR YEAR COLLEGE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!!
