Lithia Park, Ashland
(4.7/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
In the middle of Ashland, Lithia Park houses a forest growing along a stream. The area's high concentration of lithium oxide inspired the name of the park. Duck ponds and a Japanese Zen garden make this place particularly peaceful. There are playgrounds, tennis courts, and an ice skating rink in the winter. The park is fenced and is very dog friendly. Put Lithia Park and other Ashland attractions into our Ashland trip itinerary builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • A native suggested we had to visit Lithia Park to clear the cobwebs out of a day long meeting and to enjoy the fall colors. It was definitely worth the visit and we'll go again whenever we are in Ashl...  more »
  • Everything about this town in quaint. The park was nice but I'm docking points because you're not allowed to bring dogs. There's nothing there that a well-behaved dog could destroy or damage.
  • Beautiful park! Fantastic trails. I could spend all day exploring the park and watching the creek run. Fall is a spectacular time to visit with the colorful and falling leaves. A perfect after dinner ...  more »

  • Such a beautiful park! I love how it's right in the middle of downtown and how the park is hugging a river. This makes the park one of the coolest spots on a hot day. There is always a constant flow of entertainers too. My wife and I always come here when we're in Oregon and plan to keep up the tradition! :)
  • Probably one of the nicest city parks I've ever visited. Lots of stone walls, tall shade trees, and places to sit. Very kid friendly with several places to play. Great place for a walk or more. If you're in town its a great place to take a break or eat lunch.
  • Lithia Park is a welcome retreat in the small town of Ashland being centrally located with abundant seating, grass lawns and plenty of people watching. The multi outlet historic drinking fountain serving up the native mineral spring water is the centerpiece of the park. Drinking this unusual mineral water is worth the trip to Ashland alone.
  • Lots of nature here. Good trail to walk on and see different types of animals like deer and ducks. Not great cell service but good spot to pokemon go hunt if the service is working.
  • amazing park went to when up for shakespeare fest drove all the way to the top and back round ending up by the parking garage thing by the theaters. cool how the deer arent too skitish for pics and wild turkeys were epic to see, not even the sulfure water output thing or the mineral water with sulfar in it at the town square diverted me of the fully experience
