  • It was a great place to hang out with friends. There was a food truck on site. The beer was good and the atmosphere was great too. It was at the back of an art gallery, kind of in the basement.  more »
  • Took us a while to find-it is in the river arts district by the train tracks. Simple brew pub with food trucks. Beer flights were great and inexpensive. Merzel October fest was great & the hard cider ...  more »
  • This was a really cool little brewery and we definitely enjoyed our time here! My partner for a four beer sampler ($8, pretty reasonable), where you can pick your own beers to try and really enjoyed i...  more »

  • I didn't find any particularly special beers here but they were all very well made, classic styles of beer. A flight (4 beers - 4 ounce pours) was $8. My favorite beer was the Wit. It was pleasant with some cotton candy like flavors. They offered free peanuts with plenty of outdoor seating for chilling. If you are visiting here keep in mind, Wedge Studios is in the front right off the street. You actually have to drive around to the back of the building (the side of the building with the railroad tracks) to get to the brewery. Overall, nice solid brewery but didn't stand out among my brewery touring in Asheville.
  • Rustic location. Nothing fancy, but good beer. Right on the railroad tracks. The kind of place a hobo would get off train, get a beer. Then get back on the boxcar.
  • There are better places all around to get a beer. Beer itself is nothing special. Needs to be cleaned up, I didn't appreciate political comments posted behind the bar, pretty naive to think all you won't offend some customers. We won't be back.
  • Very cool, down to earth, funky brewery. Dog friendly. It is very happening and loud!
  • This is our absolute favorite brewery in Asheville. Such a fun atmosphere and great beer.
