  • My husband and I enjoyed the tour at Highlands immensely. Very educational plus free beer! They don't serve food, however we really enjoyed the Mexican food truck parked just outside. Delicious!
  • Took the free tour. Gary is a card, clearly this is the job he was born to do. Good samples (but would like more than one choice). Had a beer before leaving. We drove a full day to get there in time f...  more »
  • They make beer, I like beer. It's a win, win. They don't like it if you press the big red emergency button while on the tour though. They also won't give you more beer, so maybe don't do that.

  • We moved here about a year ago and this has been our favorite brewery to hang at. I saw Rich Robinson the other night at the event center and it was one of the better shows I've seen in a while. It's set up almost like a small House Of Blues club and the sound was great. It's more of a laid back atmosphere not in the downtown area so if you're going to go, plan on staying for awhile and checking out some good music. They also have local food trucks serving up killer food on event nights.
  • We rented the Highland Brewing event venue for a wedding reception and were very, very pleased with the experience. The venue is perfect if you want a beer-centric party. The staff provided everything we needed to set up for our party, which includes music, a food truck, dancing, speeches, and, of course, lots of beer. If you want to host a fun event, I cannot recommend Highland enough.
  • Great selection of brews for an awesome Sunday reggae. The wife and I came up from Florida for a ride in the mountains and to check out the fall foliage. This place was a pleasant surprise.
  • Tuesday night trivia with Dr. Brown is a lot of fun but I miss his BBQ truck. Nowadays they get some other food trucks that are tasty but expensive.
  • Recent renovations are great. The beer hall is huge compared to the cramped bars I'm used to.
