  • The gardens were absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Well worth the time and effort. Wear comfortable walking shoes and take your time when you go thru the greenhouse!  more »

  • Spectacular! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The weather was great. Come ready to walk the grounds and view this amazing site from many different angles. The guided tour was interesting and enjoyable. These folks were from a different planet - building this property originally as a bachelor pad!? We bought tickets through AAA to get the discount. Somewhat pricey, but worth the ticket.
  • Was a little busy. The audio tour was good even though it was an up charge. Pricing seemed high for the experience. The gardens were nice but my expectations were higher. I highly recommend if you find yourself nearby. But I wouldn't make a special trip.
  • We had a wonderful visit to the Biltmore. The estate was awe-inspiring. The artistry of the wood and plaster left you speechless. It is amazing that human beings could create these works of art. The gardens were the icing on the cake. The beauty of the plants and the conservatory were beautiful. It was worth every penny.
  • When I was planning my trip to Asheville, I thought the tickets were too expensive and wasn't planning on buying them. However, my girlfriend surprised me with them and it became part of our trip. We did the wine tasting in the village, which was good but the 'tasting' was literally one sip of wine. So much for the free buzz I thought I would get before touring the house. The house, which is about 3 miles from the village, is very cool and beautiful. It has views of the mountains and everything. However, the tour of the house would have been so much better with a tour guide. For the price you are paying, I would expect a tour guide. They were setting up for some mega wedding, which was cool to see and the band was practicing. From what I've heard there are all kinds of other things you could do on the estate (bikes, shop, walk, fishing, and horses) so you could spend all day there or just 2-3 hours.
  • What an amazing site to see full of history! I recommend planning a full day to get the most of it! We were running short on time & didn't have a chance to explore The Gardens or stop at the restaurant, but the house itself is absolutely breathtaking! Amazing to think this was built in the late 1800's! Price is steep, but well worth it!
