  • The Sinclair Gas Station gas station is the most famous Route 66 service stations. She does not deserve the detour, it's worth so not to be missed... This gas station, lost in the open countryside, is 3 miles after the village of Halltown road 266. It is the Old 66 21498 and today, you will find it under the name of Gay Perdy Sinclair Station Road 66 Memorabalia. She has been on the national register of historic sites of Route 66. To stop at this station, true open-air museum. A garage paved domed was one of the first buildings to be built here in 1926. Four years later, the Sinclair station opened next to the garage. The owners, Gay and Fred Mason, add coffee and three houses they called Gay Parita. In 1955, the station was destroyed by a fire. Some time later, Gary and Lena Turner bought places. In collaboration with his son, Gary rebuilt the old Sinclair station. Even if this isn't an exact replica of the original, she is filled with objects and memories "vintage". Here nothing to sell or to buy, just the pleasure of eyes. On the other hand, his daughter has created a gift shop in the small cabin that is located just to the left of the gas station.
