  • I recommend driving 3/4 of the way up the mountain and then taking the mile hike to the observation tower from there. The views, from the top, are beautiful and there are a lot of great spots to picni...  more »
  • This is a great drive. Nearly to the lookout tower at the top, a short walk is required. There is no reason for disabled not to go, there are a couple picnic tables near and fine views from the parkin...  more »

  • Made the drive, but the website had wrong information about a closure of the entire park for a private function. Plus 1 star for helpful on-site staff person. Otherwise, quite frustrating.
  • A fantastic little park, nestled it the southern Green Mountains of Vermont. A beautiful little hike from the summit parking lot to the HangGliders launch point (.4 mile) gives a beautiful view westward toward Brownsville Vt with Okemo Mountain in the distance. No 'amenities' here... just a little hike and a nice view !
  • Wethersfield Trail's waterfalls were somewhat dry when I went in July, but it's a nice walk. The drive to the top is scenic and the trails at the top offer some diversity of the alpine environment.
  • Peaceful Campground with clean facilities, hot showers, book swap cabinet, lots of hiking trails, 3.7 mile parkway to summit with several trails to fire tower with 360° breathtaking views. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
  • The hillclimb races here are awesome
