  • Definitely worth the trip. Warm water, plenty of activities, amenities and even two hot tubs. The one blemish is they need more inner tubes for the slide. Other wise the best rec around.
  • As rec centers go this place is pretty decent. When my family and I visited the children's area was under construction so the facilities were somewhat less significant than on my previous visits. The slides are fun. The locker rooms are reasonably clean and good for families.
  • Very fun for kiddos! We went over winter break, so it was pretty crowded and I would love try again when it might be a little slower. We just did swimming, but there are several things to do here. The big slides look so fun, but I have to wait until I am not pregnant to try them. Our only complaint was that the water was freezing! Being pregnant I feel like I am always hot, but I had goose bumps the entire time I was there, and my two year old niece was frozen- her lips were turning blue and her teeth were chattering. We all ended up in the kids hot tub, but I could only stay in there a few minutes so we had to cut our time there very short. The shower after was amazing though. Maybe it would also be better in the summer, but I would think an indoor pool would be comfortable year round.
  • The pool at Apex has ruined us for any other pools in the Denver area. The child-play area is absolutely the perfect depth with the perfect equipment and my older daughter loves the water slides. The water temperature in each of the pools is warm enough that my kids stay warm for a fairly long play, which helps me to feel the admission price was worth it. We love this rec center and, despite it being a commute, will certainly be back for the pool alone.
  • Great, clean, free indoor playground for kids 10 and under is right by the entrance. There is a fantastic pool, with a play area for small kids and a larger pool with two giant water slides for the over 10 crowd. There are three skating rinks at the far end of the facility, complete with skate rental . In the middle of the facility are exercise rooms and Equipment, including a climbing wall. You can rent out party rooms on the downstairs level. A fantastic place for families, seniors, and the public.
