Although simple, this monument is a great addition to say thanks all the military women throughout US history who helped and continue to help make this country strong!  more »

I think the history of this memorial goes back many years. Seems reasonable to have a memorial for women, as separate from the men.  more »

It is a memorial that has nothing of interest and in addition there even tourists. Unattractive Memorial which makes you not mend in it when dried. They could you have worked more on this memorial and do something more symbolic.

Awesome salute to women in service. Beautiful venue and breathtaking views... Great staff too.

The small exhibits were clearly crafted with love and attention to detail. The videos and visuals were moving and informative. I was disappointed to see that this tribute to the women who have served receives no federal funding. Even through the cemetery was crowded, I was alone for much of my time in the memorial. If you are visiting Arlington, this memorial is certainly worth walking through.

The museum was booked for a catering event on the day and immediately following the services for Colonel Prevette. The meal was outstanding and the facility and displays were amazing. I was so proud as a woman to realize that so many had served our country and they were being honored with memorabilia and with so many displays. A great...

Appropriate memorial for the women who served in so many capacities during combat. Take some quiet time and wander through this memorial.

Where to stay in Arlington

If your trip to America's capital city doesn't include a big budget for accommodations, consider staying on the other side of the Potomac River in the county of Arlington. You’ll find a good selection of both expensive and economical hotels inside Washington, D.C., proper, but staying in Arlington county removes you from the big crowds and allows you to choose from a range of budget-friendly inns and motels. This area also offers extended-stay apartments, many located near the Ballston neighborhood's metro stop.
