  • Went to a retirement ceremony at this military memorial and discovered a great place championing the role of women in the military. There is a great exhibit that includes a lot of history about women ...  more »
  • a momentum for all the women in militairy service. deep respect for all who gave their life for freedom and peace
  • So many times there has been such little respect for the women who were members of the armed forces. Very nice to see this dedicated to them

  • Very nice and informative. Women in the military and service to our country, everyone should know the history.
  • Don't miss this on your visit to Arlington. It is uplifting, even funny at times, and really meaningful. You'll leave feeling proud of the Nation's women in uniform!
  • Not just a monument, go inside, it's a museum too (I didn't realize that until I had walked past it a few times on different occasions).
  • The Women in Military Service For America Memorial is the first stop you'll make if you're arriving at Arlington Cemetery by Metro. Inside there are plenty of great exhibits along with a presentation hall where you might catch a lecture on the history of Arlington Cemetery. If you're in to photography then you'll want to make the climb outside to see the amazing view back in to Washington, DC.
  • Nice memorial a must see.
