  • Big enough to be seen from miles around, but also with human-scaled sculptural elements and inscriptions dedicated to USAF heroes.
  • Bonioto travel site, with visual and extremely well maintained. From there you can see well the wasghinton horizon and the Pentagon. Sober air and interesting sculptures, beyond the typical central arch. Few people, since it is outside the tourist circuitão. well worth a view.

  • This is a good place to view the Pentagon from. Just take a bus ride from the Pentagon City mall, it will drop you almost at the gate of the memorial in around 5-6 minutes.
  • This ain't no Iwo Jima. I hated this monument aesthetically until I actually went to see it. It has great views of DC, and when you stand within the memorial and look up, it is pretty cool.
  • A memorial to see while in Washington D.C. Take an hour of your time. Great view of the city there.
  • Very neat memorial. The Air Force Orchestra played a performance when I attended and it made for a memorable evening. Such a cool location and monument.
  • The metal spires look like they represent three jets zooming up and breaking away in three arcs. It was amazing to see this monument through the sunrise with the light glinting of the shiny metal. A must see in DC!
