  • Hiking Superstition Mountain is the most difficult in the Phoenix metro area in my opinion. It has all kinds of terrain; boulders, steep flat, uneven, and almost completely vertical. This isn't for the out of shape folks and isn't a beginners hike. Love it however and the views of Four Peaks and the surrounding areas are worth the trek. Bring water, maybe food, have good shoes on, and take your time.
  • My husband and I retired to Apache Junction in 2005. We made many trips to Superstition Mountain and have enjoyed every trip, especially showing family when they visited. Tortilla Flat is so quaint and although the drive on past TF is bumpy seeing all the sights are beautiful, especially the Roosevelt Dam. It’s an enjoyable, relaxing drive you won’t regret
  • Great place to stroll a fun scenic walk or break a mean sweat. This place has an array of hiking options for the young n old the newbie or advanced. Truly it is beautiful full of wildlife and good times waiting to happen bring some snacks n plenty of water. Love and light lates.
  • Hiking the Superstious Mountain in Arizona to see the petroglyphs left by the Native tribe, Ho Ho Kam 800 years ago. It was such an interesting hike with the desert mountains, terrains were so different with cacti and their blossoms.
  • I was taking pictures of the mountain, and then realized the next day I caught this on my phone camera. Wow! It looks like the ledgends of spirits in the mountain is true! Ginny Ennen
