Had the chance to drive through the refuge while going to Sasabe. Beautiful views and scenic. Lots of border patrol while other traffic was light.
Great place for camping and hunting. Stayed out here a week and photographed alot of wildlife including many types of birds, Hawks and deer.
Visited there 1/2014 & walked thru the whole refuge. The bad part is when you come to the end of the trail it brings you out to a county road & you have to walk another 2 miles back to where you parked. The little town of Arivaca was kind of neat, but by the time you get there to see it after the refuge walk you're pretty tired out.
