Where to stay in Arches National Park

Arches National Park provides camping at the Devils Garden Campground, but most visitors opt to stay in the town of Moab south of the park. You'll find every type of accommodation here, including economy motels, small inns with a rustic Southwest vibe, bed and breakfasts, lodges, and campgrounds. Moab's economy largely revolves around park visitors, so you'll find plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and various services here. A few publicly operated campgrounds line Route 128 on the park's eastern edge, and a few more accommodations sit on Route 191 off the park's western border.

  • We rather quickly visited this arch while on the way to meet our ranger guided tour group for Fiery Furnace, but it was worth the short stop. It is very close to the parking area, and we could walk to...  more »
  • Via a very narrow entrance you walk in a small sandy gorge. Lots of shade and a rather small arch. When there are a lot of people, you want to get out fast.  more »
  • A short stroll from the car park, the last bit is very sandy. You haVe to navigate a narrow passage.  more »

  • Definitely one of my favorites. It's different from the other destinations in the park and I'm glad we stumbled upon it. Very cool air and shaded, ground covered with fine orange sand; short hike. A little frustrating with all the kids though.
  • I have really enjoyed this place. Dark red color and red sand makes you feel great. You can climb all the way up between the arches. Great place. My best 3rd arch in the park. 1- delicate arch 2- landscape arch
  • A short hike from the road. Perfect spot hidden in the canyon.
  • I live and work in Moab and Sand Dune Arch is my favorite little Arch. I tell people to go there almost every day. The short walk to it is so interesting, plus a great place for kids. I can't wait to see it again ☺️
  • This is a very cool arch to visit especially if you have kids. There is a ton of sand in there that is just dying to be payed with. It is also shady with lots of things to climb on. My 15 and 10 year old loved it.
