  • After climbing (by devil's garden trail), you can access navajo arch and partition arch. It is an opening overlooking the rest of this part of the Park.

  • After you pass Landscape Arch the trail to Double O Arch takes a steep uphill over a rib of slick rock. At the top there is a short detour to Partition Arch and Navajo Arch. I did this on the way back...  more »
  • Treat yourself to this spur hike on the way back from Double O arch. Get brace and scale the ridge behind it for great views!  more »

  • If you continue on the Devil's Garden Trail past the Landscape Arch, you can hike to Partition Arch and Navajo Arch. This Arch is well worth the hike. There is one steep uphill area in which you must climb up a steep rock face right after Landscape Arch, however, if you can conquer that, you are past the most difficult part of the hike and well on your way.
  • One of my favorites. You can step through it. There's enough space to stand on the other side of it. You can continue up and get a view of the back side of landscape arch too.
  • Little windy in May during the holiday weekend. Not a good arch if you're afraid of height.
  • Fun arch, with a great view through it.
  • Totally worth doing the extra walk to get to, the view through the arch is great.

Where to stay in Arches National Park

Arches National Park provides camping at the Devils Garden Campground, but most visitors opt to stay in the town of Moab south of the park. You'll find every type of accommodation here, including economy motels, small inns with a rustic Southwest vibe, bed and breakfasts, lodges, and campgrounds. Moab's economy largely revolves around park visitors, so you'll find plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and various services here. A few publicly operated campgrounds line Route 128 on the park's eastern edge, and a few more accommodations sit on Route 191 off the park's western border.
