Kersey Valley Spookywoods, Archdale

(4.3/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Spookywoods Haunted Attraction started by a dare of teenagers in 1985 to go into an abandon farm house when the founder Tony Wohlgemuth was 15 years old. After getting a good scare from a family of bats they decided to make a haunted house that fall. The haunted attraction now takes over the majority of the 60 acre farm after almost 3 decades of growth. Kersey Valley has a year round team of artist and builders with a passion for creating fresh new experiences each fall.

  • Kersey Vallley goes above and beyond to do things right! The thought process that goes into mastering their performance is hands down, numero uno!  more »
  • This place is phenomenal! The actors are dedicated to providing a first-rate scare and do so consistently night after night. Take time to notice the attention to detail in the costuming and makeup--if...  more »

  • Tonight we wanted to get out and enjoy some good fun, Spooky Woods definitely made it possible! The whole atmosphere perfected the feel of haunted attractions in autumn. Instead of only offering a simple hay ride, S.W gives a variety of scary, yet fun things to explore on the tour. The price was worth every moment. Highly recommended you and your family & friends enjoy this local famous attraction.
  • It's a great place to get all of your Halloween fun on. It's super scary & they really put effort into it. It's a great family place & it also has a lot of family activities thru the rest of the year too such as giant trampolines, high ropes, & obstacle courses. It's a great place to be 💖
  • This place was definitely worth the $35 for my general admission ticket! The scares were well done, and the actors were quite convincing (and polite). They would even make jokes about things you said, which was quite entertaining. However, I do not recommend going if you don't like strobe lighting, because it's everywhere. The park is split into 4 sections, 3 with short lines. It took my group of 4 about an hour and a half to complete everything. I totally recommend Spooky Woods to all who want a fun time and aren't afraid to be jumpscared :).
  • Awesome! Not a long wait in lines. Loved the music and lights. The attractions were amazing and very scary. The workers are very courteous and polite! Will be back again! PS not enough clowns lol! MORE CLOWNS
  • First, let me start by saying I have been to this haunt before and had an amazing time. I raved about it and told all my friends and family how great it was. However, this time I was embarrassed to have told my friends about it. It was nothing like before. I wasn't scared at all, the groups were too big, and the attractions were cheesy. The people that were part of the haunt were weird... not scary. I felt like I took a long miserable walk through the woods just to wait it lines for nothing. I feel like it was the biggest waste of my time (I drove an hour and a half) and money (30.00 per person). I could have gotten a better scare and experience out of a church orchestrated PG halloween event. I was VERY disappointed and won't be making another mistake by giving this place another try.
