  • Magical place. Indescribable natural beauty. Plenty of hiking trails with moderate elevation changes but not difficult to hike. There is even a disc golf course in one section. If you're lucky you might run into a horse named Mikey, whose owner may let you feed him a cookie. Of note, you may also encounter indigent denizens if you wander off the main trails.
  • Great place for hiking without having to take a hike to get there. Very convenient, lush tree cover and great trails. Good fun workout.
  • I really enjoy going to this area. The large field is nice for picnics and relaxing, and the surrounding woods are just magnificent. A perfect spot to hike! The air quality is amazing.
  • We've been here various times before and will be back in the future, as we LOVE hiking around the Arcata Community Forest, breathing the fresh air, communing with the magnificent trees, seeing all the shades of green, listening to the streams, being with being itself.
  • Great little forest, there's many places to see and explore. Wonderful for hiking.
