Still the Great Race Place! The venue has had improvements over recent years and trying to make it a great family friendly outing for the casual and loyal racing fans. It is disappointing that turnout is in decline but it makes getting around easier.
This was my first time watching horses race live, and it was, without a doubt, a fun time for the whole family! Our young kids loved seeing real horses! If you go down to the paddock, you can see the horses a lot closer and still. :) Betting was involved, but it was all in good fun and good spirits, since the subject of everyone's bets is horses after all. If you go across, through the tunnel under the track, there's a free playground for kids and (when we went) a giant inflated Cars movie slide, plus another inflated bouncy, obstacle course! This was great entertainment for the kids between races! And one of my favorite things was the $3 pony rides! My kids got to ride real ponies!! So yeah, Santa Anita gave us some pretty special memories! :)

Wether your a fan of horse racing or never been, this place is great. Top three in north and south america. Crowds aren't as big which makes most new people feel comfortable while still giving you a great experience.
Its the great race place. Most beautiful track in the world. The El Camino Real Turf Course is one of a kind.
I've been coming to the track with my family since I was a kid and I love Santa Anita best of all. This place is the best. It's clean, beautiful buildings, an awesome infield and the picturesque San Gabriel Mountains as a backdrop. I'll be bringing my kids here one day for sure
