If you are a lover of beautiful nature you must see this miracle. Very well designed gardens and good atmosphere. Thanks for creating a beauty.
I have been to the Arboretum many times as a local and it is beautiful there. It's a great place to take pictures and take a stroll while enjoying nature. Definitely recommend visiting at least once!
LA Arboretum is a gem. If you've not been to a botanical garden, please do! This one is a beauty, has great walking paths, water features, peacocks and of course trees from the world round. My favorite time of year is springtime, the rose garden is spectacular and the peacocks are feeling love in the air, so are showing off. Kids love botanical gardens, too, so unless yours are wildebeasts, bring them, too.

Beautiful Lush Greens and Scenery. This place is a Gem and Nature at its best. Love how all the Peacocks surround and gives energy in this place. The Botanical gardens are well maintained and staff are friendly and helpful. I have done my engagement shoots here and I get the very best romantic images. Overall, a Joy to visit. Watch out, Pokemon players will love this place!!!
In just quality-of-experience, I'd rank these gardens as slightly better than the Descanso Gardens and a fair step below Huntington. That said, for $9 admission, it's probably the best value of the three; it also has the best cafe (value-wise). It will probably take you about 3 hours to explore the place thoroughly.
It's a very nicely maintained and great variety at the arboretum. The whole place is a reminder of what a vast and wondrous planet we live on, complete with peacocks strutting around. Though I was pressed for time, I walked most of the outdoors and enjoyed what I saw. I'd love to come back on a sunnier day and explore the rest of it.
Awesome place! Tons of fun exploring the 127 acres on foot. Key note is to wear comfortable shoes and plan to spend an entire morning here. Lots of ground to cover. Oh, and don't feed the peacocks...they can get pretty aggressive!
