  • I took my first walk along Manresa well over forty years ago. Since that time, it has been one of the favorites on the list of beaches in California. My walk started at Seascape Beach and I went so fa...  more »

  • I've fed 300 kids here annually for Kiwanis KeyClub youth leadership training event on the beach since 2004. The beach is always clean, large enough to accommodate our group and still offer ample space for 100's more. There's good parking, 4 bathrooms that are OK as public bathrooms go, not great, but serviceable. There is no water and your 20 minutes to stores if you need something. Park staff are kind and do what they can to help given their limited resources. As with many beaches you park and walk a ways to the beach...there's a stair case and paved walk path both of which are steep and not wheel chair or elderly friendly. This is a great beach, highly recommend it.
  • What an amazing view! I've been to several beaches in the Bay Area, and Manresa is unforgettable. I saw whales and dolphins from the lookout point, which also has tables and seating. Bathrooms aren't the cleanest, but easy to access. The beach is beautiful and clean - very relaxing. Probably one of the lesser known/underrated beaches around here. I ended up going there after a day of fruit picking in Watsonville and will definitely be back in the near future.
  • Amazing beach. Clean, minimally crowded, great surf. There used be fire rings. Seem to be missing, but we made a deep wide hole in the sand and made a wonderful campfire. Campfire at beach starting just before sunset. Fun experience. On State Park drive at Ace Hardware, you get great campfire logs bundle.
  • I love to come here. Relaxed atmosphere and a good size beach to walk along. It's clean and not crowded. It's peaceful and a easy drive compared to going to Santa Cruz.
  • Very clean beach and less crowdy but lacks in very basic amenities. There restrooms are close to parking space but we couldn't find anyone next to beach. Just to add, there was a good walk of around 0.6 miles from parking area to the beach. Parking is of $10 and seemed safe. Would love to go there again.
