  • My wife and I were looking for a paved bicycle trail in Orlando that would afford us a comfortable, safe, semi-shady ride in 87 degree weather. The West Orange Trail fit the bill. We rented our first ...  more »
  • I use this Trail all the time. I feel it is safe. It is a good Trail to walk, jog and ride a bike. You can go a short or long distance. It connects to the Trail in Lake County which makes it nice. The...  more »

  • Great bike trail. It's well paved, wide and pretty flat. The trail goes through some beautiful communities, especially in Oakland, and I love riding through old Historic Winter Garden. If you make a pit stop here, I suggest The Crooked Can Brewery, Urban Flats and Axum Coffee. Beyond Historic Winter Garden, I would travel in groups, as it gets a little sketchy through some areas but mostly you're in the middle of nowhere alone. I recommend groups of 3-4+ for this portion.
  • We came out here to go riding with some of our friends. We did about 10 miles then stopped in downtown WG for the farmers market, some food, and some ice cream. Urban Flats was great as was the Scoops ice cream shop. Great places to stop next time we come for a ride.
  • it was pretty fun. I went with my Boy Scout troop 277 for the cycling merit badge. it was shady most of the way, bike stations and coolers every mile or so. great trail
  • This is a trail to ride your bike, walk or roller blade. I have done about 22 miles on bike one way . Some areas are shady. Never any trouble. Although I didn't like where it ends - by the side walk of a busy street
  • It looks pretty well paved Should put bike trials with dirt or dirt trials
