  • The community of Anthem has a lot of family oriented activities. One of them is a quick trip to the Anthem Veterans Memorial. It is nice to see an effort to honor those who have served our nation.  more »

  • A beautiful, serene, solemn tribute to the men and women who served in the 5 branches of the service. 5 pillars, 5 benches, the American flag waving in the breeze along with the flag for POW MIA, beautiful well-kept lawns, blue-blue sky and a feeling of calming peace. The pillars honored The Army, The Marines, The Navy, The Air Force and The Coast Guard. The great seal of America is at the end of the row of pillars. There's a plaque that tells how on every Veteran's Day at 11:11 the light shines through the holes in the pillars and illuminates the seal. Wow! Impressive!
  • Worth visiting. Specially if you are part of our armed forces. The park around it is very nice, and has a family feel to it... Definitely a great park...
  • This is amazing. We attended the Veteran's Day ceremony and were very impressed. The memorial itself it beautiful. White pillars with a sphere all directed to the red brick base which has the seal of the US on it. It is positioned specifically to have the sun shine through the open spheres and shine on the US seal exactly at 11:11 on 11/11. Very impressive.
  • I've been to this park any times with my son but thus was the first time I witnessed racist n***r remrks while my son rode his scooter. Thank you Anthem for the welcome.
  • A memorial definitely worth checking out, especially on Veterans day when the 'Indiana Jones' like event occurs to light up the seal. Overall, the park it's featured in makes for a great surrounding area with lots to do.
