I went here with family and spent time near the at the pool near the visitor's center. The park is very large but we didn't have time to visit all of it. It was a nice and well maintained park and we ... read more »
This is a county park that has a lot of places to walk, a dog park, ice skating (at least they used to) in the winter, water front views. In the summer, you can rent kayaks and canoes.
We found this nice little park as a result of buying a year pass to Downs Park and this one was included along with 2 others. Lots of different trails that are easy for even beginners and I love that ... read more »
Great large park for walking, running. I go most often for the dog park and now that it's open again, the dog beach. The dog park is large and fenced, depending on time of day there's typically at least one corner that is shaded by trees, ample doggie waste bins, a baby pool with water supply. The dog beach is nice and sandy, broad enough for a good number of dogs, there sometimes can be alot of plant growth about because it is a cove, but not too much of an issue. There's also a hose off station which is nice so we're not tracking as much sand back into the car.
Nice walking paths. Nice playground for toddler to 9 yrs. Plenty of spaces to wander and feel mentally cleared. Enough space for everone to feel alone in nature. If you visit in early July you may find a type of red raspberry. Overall very nice park.
So much to offer!! Nice big pavilions for family parties or special occasions. Built in grills both covered and outside. There's a really nice visitor center with a cafe and lots of fountains tons of flowers. Also a dog park with big and small. Also a dog beach but we didn't see that part. Tons of trails people walking and biking. Super nice place for friends and family.
Great park. So many things to do. Everything was well taken care of. Beautiful views. Will definitely visit again.
Even though it is literally over 100 degrees out today and therefore a via poor decision on my part to try and take the kids to so something different. Either way, from what we saw driving around and the playground that we stopped at for lunch and to play, it was apparent that Quiet Waters Park is a hidden gem. **please know that there is a $6 entry fee into the park, HOWEVER if you are active duty and or a veteran with validate ID then it is FREE**
