  • We took an hour trolley tour around Annapolis and were able to see this memorial. It is very well done in a beautiful setting high enough to overlook the bay and Annapolis.
  • Very good memorial to see. At the top area, it also overlooks the United States Naval Academy. Beautiful site. Must be able to walk up several steps.
  • A superb Monument to honor the soldiers during the second world war at Annapolis. We honor the military to the United States, and this is an example that should be followed also in France, by more than monuments in their honor. They are the first front in fighting. It is also a good way to remember their sacrifice.

  • Beautiful location on the north-eastern bank of the Severn River across from Annapolis. Spectacular view of the Naval Academy, Annapolis and beyond. Well designed and crafted memorial to those who served in World War II. Definitely stop when you have a few minutes driving down MD Route 2 across US 50 onto Route 450 into Annapolis, or when leaving Annapolis on MD Route 450 across the Severn River up towards US 50.
  • It is a great place to take my grandchildren to show them n talk with them about the history that it has to offer. It's just a beautiful place to sit n take it all in.
  • Lovely view. Worth a few minutes every season to look at the plants Great place to start a bike ride.
  • A very fun and informative place to visit. Also has a very nice overlook of the memorial itself and the water
  • Really cool place to stop and check out. The site pays remembers car to Maryland residents that didn't come back from WWII. Super view of the Naval Academy.
