Bean Point, Anna Maria

Beach Nature / Park
Relax by rolling dunes and gentle waves at Bean Point, one of Anna Maria Island's premier beachfront spots. Make your way out to the point, somewhat removed from the rest of the island's urbanization, kick back on the sand and enjoy the view over the sea. Alternatively, don your suit and make a splash in the shallow shoreline area or wander along the waterfront, making use of the surrounding boardwalks, footbridges, and sandy stretches. Park along one of the nearby residential streets for easy access to the beach, as the point itself has no dedicated parking spots. Use our Anna Maria vacation planner to add Bean Point and other attractions to your Anna Maria vacation plans.

  • Unbelievable spot of the Gulf Ocean. Has super clear turquoise water, soft white sand, shells, sand dollars and starfish to find. Great place to watch the sunrise and sunsets!!  more »
  • Wonderful beach, white sands, blue seas but swimming can be a problem with strong tide currents in places. This is a must visit place but caution is necessary with the water at the point.  more »
  • We walked from the Rod and Reel after lunch, the sand is so soft. We looked for shells on our walk and watched the birds. A storm started to roll in and cut our trip short but loved the time we had.  more »
