  • For a mall these days, they have kept this mall pretty decent. The store select was a little higher end, which was good (J.Crew, Banana, Pottery Barn, etc.). Glad to have this conveniently located to ...  more »
  • Mall houses various outlets across categories. Macys Sears Apple, JCP and many others. It happened to be crowded during the weekend. Clean environment and well structured.  more »
  • Briarwood mall is clean and was mostly empty on my recent visit. I hadn't been to a mall in a while. H&M sales got me! I was able to find plenty of great sale prices. Over the visit was ok.  more »

  • I want to like Briarwood for nostalgia reasons, since it's pretty much the only true mall near here. At the same time, I struggle with the choices the owners make in terms of the overall customer experience. The efforts to modernize seem to focus on eliminating the very things that make a mall worth going to these days. Things like holiday decorations, comfortable lounge areas, and great family spaces all seem to be abandoned in an effort to re-imagine as trendy and modern. If I really need something from the mall, I'll go, but I never think "Hey, let's hit the mall first and see if we can find what we're looking for there!"
  • Briarwood mall is pretty okay. It's not really somewhere you go out of your way to visit, but it's never really a bad experience. Store selection is decent but not amazing, most of the essentials are here but you could find it a little lacking. One area it is super lacking is in the food department. Sure Chipotle is good the first one or two times but after that your options go down hill really fast. Bravo and PF Changs are not bad but slow and a little pricey. As far as malls go this one is alright. Not terrible by any stretch, but I have definitely found myself making the drive out to twelve oaks or sommerset when in need of some hardcore shopping.
  • Going to Briarwood is like being in another country these days and I found myself feeling very nervous and anxious during my last visit. Most won't say it, but I will. I should feel safe in the land I call home, but the entire Ann Arbor area as well as huge chunks of Wayne county are places I try to not visit often anymore. Very sad feeling.
  • It has a good variety of stores. Pretty standard mall. Food restaurants have been growing but still needs more options. Some parts are under construction and adding new stores. Over all a good choice to shop.
  • The only real problem I have with Briarwood is the access for handicapped individuals who need to rent or use scooters or wheelchairs. the distance to get the device is to far from the entrances from the parking lot. and if you call for them to meet you they rarely show up. then they tell you to return it to the rental place to get your license back so you have to walk to far to leave. if you have to leave your license you cant use your credit card to shop because they have your license. so it all kind of sucks.
