  • Offers a very nice surroundings. Gallery volunteers are very helpful. Nice flow to gallery. Would like to see more local artists events.
  • I had not been aware of this museum, but saw a reference to their Manzanar photo exhibit while traveling in New England so decided to go out of our way to visit it. A very good decision. It is a stunn...  more »
  • It's the oldest incorporated high school I the US. Established in 1778 by Samuel Phillips. This school had an800 million endowment in 2011. Lots of folk art antiques and fine art.

  • Unassuming location (tucked away in Andover), but a really nice gallery with a solid regular collection and a much larger than expected exhibition collection. That it's free helped--especially bringing young children for a few hours.
  • I would say this is a nice place, but their security guys treated me so bad --just because I was the only young man around-- that I would never come back. That is one reason why young people never care about art in our towns. No one wants to go to a place where everyone sees you as a criminal. Also, be clear about your photography policy. On your website shows that people are allowed to take cellphone pictures while your security guys told me not to do it.
  • Beautiful museum with rotation collections.
  • Nice collection for a small museum
  • Amazing place. A real hidden gem. Great American art from a variety of artists. Winslow Homer to Lorna Simpson. Free to the public. You won't be disappointed
