  • Great experience with very knowledgeable staff. Great way to show children the way that people lived not too long ago.
  • Well worth the time! I had read about Fanthorp Inn for several years and driven by last December. The tour was very interesting and you can't beat the price...it is free. I also visited the gorgeous painted Catholic church St. Mary's in Plantersville and 2 wonderful antique shops Liberty bell and Martha's Farmhouse in Montgomery plus photographed the lovely court house in Anderson . I want to go back to Fanthorp Inn on Thanksgiving weekend for their special evening event.
  • Adam was a wonderful park ranger and very knowledgable. The stage coach ride was incredible! Thank you for such an awesome learning experience.
  • One of the best state historic sites I've been too. Tom, the state park employee and tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. A lot of great history at this place.
  • My husband and I luckily joined a group tour and the knowledgeable docent gave us detailed and interesting instruction for the history! One of the best experiences for visiting Texas State Park!
