  • This trail is paved, and goes under major roads. It's a beautiful trail, with trees, different bodies of water, and pretty cool sights along the way.

  • We rented a tandem bike from Downtownbikes and decided not to take the Tony Knowles bike trail since everybody was sent that way(and indeed it was very crowded when we took it for the first mile...

  • My friends and I went tubing down this creek and had a blast. It does move pretty swiftly, so you definitely can’t think of it as “lazy tubing”, but as long as you have one or both hands free to paddle and steer a bit you’ll really enjoy it.
  • If you're walking a trail or eating at a restaurant in Anchorage then you'll eventually see the beautiful Campbell Creek. Campbell Creek is a shallow, yet beautiful creek that runs along many restaurants in Anchorage. Arctic Roadrunner on 5300 Old Seward Hwy has outdoor seating right next to Campbell Creek where you'll see ducks and goose eating crumbs left behind. Generally there is an annual event where you can volunteer to clean the Campbell Creek and return trash for prizes. Once you float down Campbell Creek in a kayak you'll want to make sure it stays clean too.
  • A small place in anchorage where you can feel away from it
