  • All types of sweets and chocolates. The kitchen has crystals and see are when preparing sweets and ls range of chocolates. Good variety of tshirt at good price. Many other Alaska souvenirs at regular prices and other super expensive items. But overall good shop if you like sweets. The chocolate fountain looks stunning large.

  • Wow...I like the chocolate wild berry jellies and put together a box of those and blueberry bark as gifts. Okay, some for just me, too. Is the big store with the chocolate waterfall touristy? Yes, but...  more »
  • Great little shop to grab some chocolate. The huge chocolate fountain makes the whole place smell like chocolate! yum!  more »

  • Good collection of Alaska themed gifts, snacks and treats. It's a fun store to be at, with the large chocolate fountain and a good variety of stuff. Nothing here is truly unique from other gift stores in the area (other than hand made chocolates!), but I do seem to always find something to bring home or give to someone.
  • This store is just down the highway from the Int. Airport, so we drove there to kill time before our outbound flight. We enjoyed the famous chocolate waterfall and watching candy being made. I bought boxed candy and my husband bought fresh candy from the counter, both were delicious! A great last souvenir stop. Large selection of hats and t-shirts for children and adults. I think I saw sleepers for infants and stuffed toys as well. We were served Polar Bear Smooches on a glacier cruise which led me to this candy company.... Great candy. More fun than their outlet in Fifth Ave Mall.
  • I absolutely loive this place! In my opinion, it's one of Anchorage's best kept secrets. Essentially it's a specialty desserts store disguised as a souvenir shop. They have it all though: clothing, books for children and adults, house made ice cream with Alaskan flavors, all kinds of chocolates and candies, souvenirs of all kinds, such as magnets, stationary, keychain, shot glasses and a lot of unique and/or handmade pieces. They even have an enormous Chocolate Fall!
  • Great chocolates and the Chocolate fountain is a nice touch. You can see them working on the candies and the souvenirs have a great variety. Plus they ship!
  • Loved looking around and tasting the candies. Would love for them to try the item I suggested via their website.

Where to stay in Anchorage

Anchorage hotels increase room rates during the height of the tourist season, but you can visit the area economically any time of year by choosing a budget-friendly bed and breakfast or small inn. The city's downtown area contains the priciest rooms; most are offered by chain hotels. You can find less expensive rooms at a cluster of hotels located in Midtown, a largely commercial neighborhood with a good selection of restaurants and shops.
