Known by the locals as the Pond or Ponda, Honda Center stadium opened in 1993 with a Barry Manilow concert that filled the more than 17,000 seats. Today, the local hockey, lacrosse, and football teams draw most people to the stands. Tours are not available; you'll have to attend an event to get inside. We have seen many events there, but mostly concerts. The acoustics are great. The legroom for the seats leaves a lot to be desired. My 6'5" husband cannot sit in some of the seats due to the lack of legroom, and most of the time, he cannot bend his legs due to the closeness of the seat in front of him (which isn't good since he has a bad knee). However, the customer service is great in accommodating us to help resolve the issue. The Center is very clean, and the employees have always been very helpful and friendly.
Been here for many different events. From Hockey to Arena Football to concerts. Always a great time. Staff is friendly. Food prices are on the high end, but they do have real food options besides hamburgers and hot dogs. If you park on site be prepared to wait for the exits.
I try to go the Honda Center every time the WWE come to town. I live way closer to the Staples Center but I prefer to go to the Honda Center. The act of finding parking is not a hassle and the officers and staff present assure that everyone arrives and leaves the venue in a safe manner. The seats at the top are mildly uncomfortable but I do not mind. The seats in sections 100s are the best seats in my opinion. Despite being in proximity to the action, floor seats for a WWE event aren't the best option.
Every staff member is wonderful the place is huge and you can enjoy it even from the very top row! Got to see Demi Lovato.
Pricy place. Durty inside the honda center.
