It's Real! Anaheim Packing House opened May 31, 2014.

Built in 1919, the restored citrus packing house is a culinary center bringing together more than 20 artisan food producers and purveyors in a public market type setting. The bright 42,000-square-foot historic warehouse features communal dining with unique culinary offerings, a railroad car patio and indoor & outdoor music venues with live music! The Packing District also includes the restored Packard Car Showroom (now home to Anaheim Brewery and famed LA burger joint, Umami Burger) and an outdoor marketplace/park (Farmers Park). Farmers Park hosts weekend farmers markets, outdoor concerts, movies, and festivals.

The Packing District is located at the intersection of Anaheim Blvd and Santa Ana Street in Anaheim. For more information, please visit www.packingdistrict.com.

Where to stay in Anaheim

Anaheim and the surrounding area have over 50,000 hotel rooms, ranging from luxurious resort suites to budget-friendly lodgings in small motels. Most visitors come to Anaheim for the world-famous Disney theme parks and end up staying at one of the Disney hotel-resorts. If amusement parks aren't your thing, or you need less expensive accommodations away from big tourist crowds, choose one of the city's non-Disney hotels, offering all the comforts of home within walking distance of Anaheim's finest shops and restaurants.

  • Great place to try lots of different food and deserts. Its a popular hang out for all kinds of people. I found the pricing of the various food items to be on the pricey side for what you get, but its fun and the food I've had there has been good. Many food venues to choose from so everybody will find something they like. Desert bars are my favorite.
  • I love this place! I'm always on the look out for finding a place be about to lounge. This place has many different areas to sit, and even some cabana type seating. There's even a nice grassy area between the district and the Anaheim brewery for kids to play. There is a large abundance of food and drinks to choose from. The Iron Press has a great selection of beers, and food is pretty good. The food for the Blind rabbit (directly under them) actually comes from the kitchen of the Iron Press. It also has a great atmosphere altogether.
  • I love all the food choices and quality of food items. The place is very nicely decorated. The bldg needs to invest in an A/C unit in the summer. The heat mixed with the crowds of people made it hard to really enjoy your food.
  • One of the best places to visit if you are around Anaheim. It has a nice variety of places to eat and drink. The prices are fair and the quality is great. Very easy to find and it wasn't hard to get a parking spot near it. Definitely worth the visit.
  • This is a gentrified take on a food court. There are plenty of restaurants that serve modern takes on everything from Japanese to American comfort food. The prices of restaurants are a little high, but they have all been good quality. There is a small parking lot that has valet parking and street parking. Definitely be aware that parking can be tricky in the evenings, because the street parking gets taken by patrons and residents of the surrounding homes.
