The perfect vacation for a couple of days with the children, there is a hill for older children (it is a pity that only one) and a pool with cool water for younger children. Plan to come back here in a couple of months.

We paid $11.50 each to go to the hot pool while staying in the RV park next door. When we paid our fee the board said the swimming pool was 90 degrees and the hot pools were 101 degrees. Looking forwa...  more »

This review is for the pool/slide area. The actual indoor and outdoor pool probably get an A. The changing rooms were really worn down and probably get a C. It's really unfortunate that the place does...  more »

We ended up with a suite room which was very nice and clean and updated. The staff was friendly. I ate many different items from The Cafe restaurant and they were all delicious. Lounge was clean and nice but didn't spend much time there. The mini golf looked fun but had some of the turf that needed repaired. The Pools and Hot Tubs are clean and nice. The golf course is in very good shape with just a few locations that needs some attention. The tennis court has a few weeds that need Roundup.

Nice Hotel, Nice pools, a bit pricey. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pools are spacious too- though the wet carpet kind of grosses me out. The water slide is fun, unless there is a long line- it can be cold in the tower waiting in line. I suggest using $1 tokens for the slide rather than the day-pass. We have tried both restaurants - both are decent, nothing special. We prefer the cheaper one (why pay a lot for food that isn't memorable?)

I am a local and use to love going to Fairmont! I use to recommend it to everyone, however under new management it have completely changed. All the employees are super rude, never any parking, its not as clean and inviting as it use to be. Unfortunate to see such a wonderful place i love turn into a terrible experience. The cutoff time for pubic to access the pool is 8:30(kicked out at 9:30) we were there to pay at the pool doors at 8:31. We were tuned down and told there was nothing they could do we were 1 min late, however the lifeguard let in some other young girls that were not staying there right after us. We asked the front desk nicely if we could pay to soak for one hour cause we drove all that way... they were beyond rude and didn't want to help or cared about the inconvenience whatsoever! i will never go back

I've gone to Fairmont over the last 15-20 years a few times, used to be pretty dated and kind of dumpy but they've apparently worked on updating. This time the rooms were clean and nice, and most of the facility was updated. Beds were comfy. Food was good, not excessively overpriced (but still sort of pricey). The soak in the springs felt great, both inside and out. They REALLY need to clean the interior of the stairs to the waterside, there was trash and random stuff scattered about (hangers, boards, step-stools, plastic bags, life jackets) on the landings (in areas roped off) which looks really trashy and like an abandoned building, not a resort that is charging 10$ for a half day slide pass. Some of the stuff had clearly been there a while, (weeks?) and none of it moved in the two days we were there.

The rooms and decor were very modern and tasteful. I was expecting something old and outdated since Fairmont has been around for a long time. In addition the hot pools were well kept and clean. My stay was both relaxing and fun.
